Gez Addictive has been a full time musician since 2004; taking the plunge at that time to buy a small rehearsal studio, The Music Shed, which would primarily serve as a base for his own musical exploits and over the next few years would expand to become the region’s largest rehearsal premises. This allowed Gez the freedom and flexibility to forge a music career without the restrictions of a normal 9 to 5 job, meaning his band Addictive pHilosopHy could rehearse, record, gig, and tour whenever they needed to. Since that time there’s been numerous self-organised UK and Eire tours, trips to Europe, hundreds of UK gigs, festival appearances including a few appearances at Rebellion (largest independent Punk festival in the world), and lots of merch sold.
Between 2013 and 2016 Gez took the position of frontman in reformed 80s legends Anti Pasti with a busy European gigging schedule promoting brand new material which would be recorded at The Music Shed (The bands 3rd album, and first since the 80s), headlining gigs and festivals in Czech Republic, Finland, Germany, France, Italy, and the UK.
Gez continues to write, record, and perform around the country with solo acoustic material as well as with Addictive pHilosopHy sharing the stage with an encyclopaedia of who’s who in the punk and ska scene.
